Cancellations and refunds

No checkout is operated here. These provisions explain enquiries and later separately accepted work.

On this page

  1. 1. The website itself has no checkout
  2. 2. Before accepting paid work
  3. 3. Changing or cancelling an accepted request
  4. 4. Concerns about the delivered scope
  5. 5. Third-party orders and commitments
  6. 6. How to raise a refund request
  7. 7. Statutory rights and updates

1. The website itself has no checkout

No legal service can be purchased through the public website. Its guides and draft preview are free, and there is no payment processor, deposit field or card collection. Preparing or abandoning an enquiry does not generate a professional fee or an invoice. There is therefore no website checkout transaction to refund. A message that actually reaches a contact address may still be only a request for consideration. Acceptance, fees and responsibility for any professional work must be established separately with the appropriate party.

2. Before accepting paid work

Cancellation and fee arrangements belong in the actual engagement, together with its scope, professional responsibility and any authorised expenses. Ask how withdrawal, changed instructions and work already completed will be treated before agreeing to proceed. The contact pages invent no universal cancellation charge, retainer percentage or non-refundable rule. They also do not decide the treatment of a court fee or a separate provider’s invoice. Applicable professional requirements and mandatory rights must be considered alongside the genuine agreement and the actual stage of the work.

3. Changing or cancelling an accepted request

If you want to cancel work that has actually been accepted, communicate promptly and identify the agreement and the work affected. Ask for confirmation of what has been received and what can still be stopped. Opening an email application or deleting a draft is not a cancellation received by the other party. Depending on the agreement and applicable law, work already completed, specifically authorised expenses or irreversible third-party commitments may need separate consideration. Their existence and amount must be established from the actual record.

4. Concerns about the delivered scope

A concern about a received professional service should identify the accepted scope, relevant instruction and particular issue. Keep the engagement record and any payment information needed to understand the request, while using an appropriate channel for sensitive documents. The response may depend on the facts, applicable duties and the terms actually accepted. This policy predetermines neither a reimbursement nor a charge for every situation. A disagreement about outcome is not assessed by the website, and no success guarantee or automatic refund promise is made here.

5. Third-party orders and commitments

Court fees, filing costs, travel, experts or other disbursements can only be considered in the context of a real accepted engagement. The website authorises none of these costs. The initial website form does not authorise any such order. Ask which costs are included, which require your approval and who is the contracting party before committing funds. A cancellation request to this publisher does not automatically cancel a separate agreement with another provider. Likewise, a third party’s policy cannot by itself decide what is owed under a different agreement. Establish the actual payments and contractual roles when considering reimbursement.

6. How to raise a refund request

Address an initial refund or cancellation concern about an actual agreement to [email protected], with enough context to identify it and the resolution sought. Do not attach a complete case file, full card details or account credentials to an unsolicited message. The website cannot approve a repayment or confirm receipt of the enquiry. A genuine reimbursement, if agreed, requires an appropriate verified payment route and a clear record. Urgent professional instructions should use an independently confirmed suitable channel rather than relying on this local draft tool.

7. Statutory rights and updates

Applicable mandatory rights may govern cancellation periods, defective services, refunds or other remedies and take precedence where required. Nothing here requires someone to waive rights that cannot be waived or accept an invented universal no-refund rule. This page describes the website and enquiry process as of 3 November 2026. A future paid product, subscription or ordering feature would need conditions that describe that feature before use. For an existing engagement, review the terms actually accepted and the law applicable to that transaction.
